A YEAR WITHOUT SHOES ::day 71::

::day 71::  Saturday, October 22.  It's been a bit of a long week.  On Thursday I had a chemistry lab, which added exactly one hour to my total time.  As of then, I was up to 44 hours.  Then, today I had a marching band competition and that added several hours.  Eight to be exact.  The grand total is up to 52, getting us past the two day mark.  It was the last competition of the season though, so I won't be adding any more hours for a while.  Last night we had a home football game, in which I marched barefoot.  It was undoubtedly the coldest my feet have ever been.  While the football field was wet and freezing, so it was a terrible combination.  The air temperature was around 40 degrees, but I'm suspicious it was colder.  I could see my breath, after all.  Being that cold was a whole new kind of pain.  It's gonna take a whole new level of endurance than what I'm used to to get through this winter.  I can't even describe the pain.  It was on a whole new level from anything I've experienced before.  I will need your prayers now more than ever, especially as it continues to get even colder!  Until next time, good night and God bless!
